- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NSWC IHEODTD) intends to award a firm fixed-price sole source procurement with HDT EXPEDITIONARY SYSTEM to provide: CLIN0001:� Repair Evaluation. CLIN0002:� Repairs.� DPAS Rating: NONE Part Number 402-H008549-031 with serial number HDTG0016748. Part Number 402-H008550-031 with serial number HDTG0016781. Initially used the 440 voltage, instead of 220. CLIN0003:� Freight/Shipping. Statement of Work: REPAIR OF TWO (2) CHEMICAL, BIOLOGICAL, RADIOLOGICAL, AND NUCLEAR FILTRATION SYSTEMS (FFA400-326) STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) 1.0������ BACKGROUND The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWCIHD), Code R23, Indian Head, MD has a requirement to repair a quantity of one (1) each of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, And Nuclear Filtration Systems (FFA400-326), Part Number 402-H008549-031 with serial number HDTG0016748, and one (1) Chemical, Biological, Radiological, And Nuclear Filtration Systems (FFA400-326), Part Number 402-H008550-031 with serial number HDTG0016781. 2.0������ APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS Original Equipment Manufacturer Specifications. 3.0������ REQUIREMENTS The contractor shall disassemble and perform the inspection, testing, and repair of one (1) Chemical, Biological, Radiological, And Nuclear Filtration Systems (FFA400-326), Part Number 402-H008549-031 with serial number HDTG0016748 and one (1) Chemical, Biological, Radiological, And Nuclear Filtration Systems (FFA400-326), Part Number 402-H008550-031 with serial number HDTG0016781.� These systems have been shipped to the contractor. 3.1������ The contractor shall perform an evaluation as to why the units failed to run. 3.2������ The contractor shall service and verify performance after evaluation.� 3.3������ The contractor shall re-assemble the unit and verify the unit is working back to the original manufacturers specifications. 3.4������ The contractor shall ship the repaired units at the contractor�s expense to: 8 CES/CEX 8 LRS/LGRD Receiving Building 823, Kunsan AB APO, AP, 96264 4.0������ TECHNICAL POINT OF CONTACT Craig LaMoy NSWCIHD/R23 JPM-Protection 50 Tech Parkway, Suite 301 Stafford, VA 22556-8615 Phone:� 703-617-2430 Email:� craig.lamoy@navy.mil The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541611, Interested vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.� The circumstances permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements.""� The intent of this synopsis is to determine if any sources exist, and therefore, no Request for Quote (RFQ) is available.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all information received by 6/18/2020 will be considered by the Government for the next requirement.� If quotes are received for this requirement, it will be considered in for the next requirement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon the responses received from this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
