Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI) for Market Research ONLY to determine the availability of scheduling consulting firms to provide scheduling support, quality control of schedules, schedule analysis, and reporting for various project types.� Scheduling support will be conducted in accordance with USACE scheduling requirements and utilize USACE�s scheduling software (similar to Primavera).� Scheduling support will be needed for multiple vertical and/or horizontal planning, design and construction projects with complex schedules and a strict battle rhythm for regularly updating schedules.� In addition, this sources sought seeks a firm that can recruit and train prospect schedulers.� The scheduling services should include but are not limited to the best practices supported by the Project Management Institute and Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International.� Training curriculum requirements should include the following topics: Applied Project Controls, Scheduling Blueprint, Earned Value Management, and Forensic Schedule Analysis.� Successful completion of this program should adequately prepare trainees to pass the CAPM exam.� The recruiting and training program should be customizable and delivered through a combination of online and in-person learning modules (via a COTS Learning Management System).�� No Award will be made from this RFI.� No solicitation, or scope of work is available at this time.� Therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation.� Potential Offerors having the skills and abilities to perform the services are invited to provide feedback via e-mail to robert.glenn2@usace.army.mil .� Responses may�be used to schedule appointments for presentations to discuss capability and scope of work requirements.� We encourage all firms to respond, including but not limited to, HUB Zone, 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, Small and Large Business.� The NAICS Code will likely be 541990, All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services, or 541611 Administrative Management and General Consulting Services�. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) anticipates an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with firm-fixed price task orders to be awarded against it.� It is anticipated the contract will have a base period of performance of three years.� Total contract capacity is anticipated to be $4M. It is expected that the RFP will be released in 2020 with a contract award in 2020.� Capability Statement Include a cover letter listing company name, and small business size status. Include capability to perform a contract of this magnitude, complexity and provide experience of comparable work. (Include a brief description of the comparable project, customer name, timeliness of performance, customer satisfaction, role in project, and dollar value of the project - provide up to 3 examples).
