- Description
- This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures for General Atomics for testing services at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP). Only one provider, General Atomics has the technical capability to ensure prove out testing is achieved and environmental compliance is met. General Atomics built and installed the previous Demilitarization technology and performed all prior work on previous contract. Any purchase order will be awarded under �other than full and open competition� as authorized in FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for offers.� A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be consider solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements for this item.
