Description
The National Institutes of Health intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with 10X Genomics. The National Eye Institute researcher intent is to purchase Reagents (Chromium Next GEM Chip G Single Cell Kit 48 rxns, Single Index Kit T Set A, Chromium Single Cell 5' Library Construction Kit 16 rxns, Chromium Single Cell V(D)J Enrichment Kit Human B Cell 96 rxns, Chromium Single Cell V(D)J Enrichment Kit Human T Cell 96 rxns, Chromium Next GEM Single Cell 5' Library and Gel Bead Kit v1.1 16 rxns, Chromium Next GEM Chip H Single Cell Kit 48 rxns, Chromium Next GEM Single Cell ATAC Library & Gel Bead Kit v1.1 16 rxns, Single Index Kit N Set A, Chromium Next GEM Single Cell 3' GEM, and Library & GelBead Kit v3.1 16 rxns) to perform immunology research. The Chromium Single Cell Gene Expression Solution upgrades short read sequencers to deliver a scalable microfluidic platform for 3? digital gene expression by profiling 500-10,000 individual cells per sample. A pool of ~3,500,000 10x Barcodes are sampled separately to index each cells transcriptome. It is done by partitioning thousands of cells into nanoliter-scale Gel Beads-in-emulsion (GEMs), where all generated cDNA share a common 10x Barcode. Libraries are generated and sequenced from the cDNA and 10x Barcodes are used to associate individual reads back to the individual partitions. Responses The proposed acquisition action is for items and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b). If you believe you can provide the items or services requested, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency, to the Contracting Officer, Rosalind R.
