Description
Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic and Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific would like to announce an Information Warfare Research Project (IWRP) Consortium Virtual Quarterly Industry Day to be held virtually, on Thursday, 25 June 2020 The event will include presentation of Technical Briefs, and one-on-one break-out teleconferences. Technical briefs presented during the IWRP Consortium Quarterly Industry Day will include the below two (2) topics. It is anticipated that the topics will be the basis of upcoming Request for Prototype Projects (RPP) to IWRP Consortium Members. This is not a Request for Prototype Projects, but for planning purposes only. A project will not be awarded from this announcement. In order to obtain more information regarding the below projects, you must be a member of the IWRP Consortium. For more information on becoming an IWRP consortium member, please visit https://www.theiwrp.org. The purpose of this announcement is to provide members of the IWRP Consortium, and industry in general, advanced notification of Government intent. The Government anticipates one (1) Requests for Prototype Project (RPP) for white papers, enhanced white papers or full proposals to be solicited via N65236-18-9-0001. RPP topics will include a technical brief and one-on-one break-out teleconferences. The RPP topics consist of the following:20-LANT-0152 - Gateway on the Move (GOTM): Provide a mobile self-contained weather proof portal that will collect and process biometric data, and present an overall go/no-go decision for each subject when combined with the skin temperature and heart rate check at or below prescribed thresholds. The Government anticipates one (1) Pre-Solicitation Collaboration (PSC) which may lead to a future RPP to be solicited via N65236-18-9-0001. The PSC Topic will include a technical brief and one- on-one sessions. The PSC topic consists of the following: SATCOM Hybrid Roaming Test (HRT): Establish a hybrid network of military provided wideband satellite communications (MILSATCOM) that will ""land"" at DoD owned Gateways and commercially provided satellite communications (COMSATCOM) that will ""land"" at commercially owned Gateways, and then seek to agilely move between the MILSATCOM and COMSATCOM provided links and switch gateways.
