- The�1st�Special�Operations�Contracting�Squadron�(1�SOCONS)/PKC�intends�to�award�a�Sole�Source�contract to� Jeppesen Sanderson, Inc. �55 Inverness Dr E Englewood,�CO,�80112,�for�JeppesenFlite Deck Pro Renewal,� see attached Sole Source Justification. 1 SOCONS/PKC will use Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition. The authority for soliciting a single source under simplified acquisition procedures is FAR 13.106?1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting Competition, which states that contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer� determines� that� the� circumstances� of� the� contract� action� deem� only� one� source� reasonably� available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand?name or industrial mobilization). The proposed contract action is Sole Source only. In accordance with FAR 5.102, the required justification documentation is attached. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation.� No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming.� Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice by 4:00 PM E.S.T,��26 June�2020.�via�email�to�austin.meadows@us.af.mil��&�mark.tonkinson.1@us.af.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government.
