- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), intends to negotiate a sole source�contract with Hewlett Packard Enterprises (HPE) in Palo Alto, CA.��The contract will be for ShadowBase software licenses and annual�maintenance and support services.� The�ShadowBase software is proprietary software of�HPE and is the only known source which can provide the required licenses and support. This procurement will be conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements Citation: 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). The period of performance will be for a 12 month base period and four option years.� This is not a request for quotation or an announcement of a forthcoming� solicitation. Request for copies of this solicitation will�be ignored.��The Government does not intend to pay for information received. All interested parties must respond by June 25, 2020 at 10:00 am eastern time.��Written responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating your firm's capability to provide the proprietary services and 3 years of past performance history. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to announcement 12474020P0025.� If no viable responses have been received in response by 10:00 am eastern June 25, 2020, USDA/AMS shall negotiate solely HPE.
