Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for three (3) KG175-F 1-Gig Flex Encryptors (FX-1G), and three (3) trade-ins for KG175-F Flex Encryptors. The NAICS code is 334111 and the Product/Service Code is 7035. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a sole-source basis to General Dynamics, Inc.� The proposed action is for Flex Encryptors mission computer packages for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii).� The basis for restricting competition is for the following reason: Flex Encryptors are solely provided by General Dynamics.� The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order to General Dynamics using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.� ����� Interested parties may identify their interest to this requirement by submitting a capabilities statement no later than June 24, 2020.� This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.� However, all responses received by June 25, 2020 at 2:00 PM EST will be considered by the Government.� Any questions must be received via e-mail by June 24 2020 at 2:00 PM EST.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.�� Inquiries should be directed to Steven Besanko at steven.besanko@navy.mil.
