- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Iliana Healthcare System VISN 12,1900 East Main Street Danville Illinois 61832, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1 (b) (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to request quotation on a sole source basis with Barcom Security for Police Service Dispatch Center Relocation Services. NAICS 561621 applies. The vendor shall provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, management and supervision to relocate and upgrade the Police Service dispatch center from room 113J to room 117J2 in Building 102, at the VA Iliana Healthcare Systems campus at 1900 East Main Street, Danville, II 61832. Services are to be provided in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, conditions and provisions of this contract. Barcom Solutions installed the current system under a competitive procurement. As such, Barcom has extensive knowledge of the infrastructure of the existing system and are uniquely qualified to perform the successful relocation of the system. Barcom also provides, on a contract obtained on a competitive basis , maintenance of the system to include replacement of any failed parts that were not damaged due to misuse or abuse of the equipment. Failure to use Barcom for the system relocation could lead to voidance of the maintenance contract for support and parts replacement for the system if the reinstallation and relocation is not performed by Barcom. The parts and maintenance coverage applies to all equipment installed by Barcom. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 pm CDT on July 2nd, 2020.
