- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to construct a SOF Multipurpose Training Facility.� The scope of work includes:� Construct a reinforced concrete structure and electrical power receptacles. Supporting facilities include site development, site improvements, utilities and connections, paving to include access roads and staging area, and storm drainage. Facilities will be designed to a minimum life of 40 years in accordance with DOD 1 s Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC 1-200-02) including energy efficiencies, building envelope and integrated building systems performance. Supporting facilities include site preparation, utilities (electrical, water, gas, sanitary sewer, chilled water, and information systems distribution), lighting, vehicle parking, access drives, curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm drainage, landscaping, roads, demolition of 59,500 SF of existing facilities, and other site improvements. The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the size standard is $39,500,000.00. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about July 7, 2020. The proposal due date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. This is an 100% Small Business Set-aside solicitation. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to receive an award from any Government solicitation. After completing SAM, in order to download documents contractors and their subcontractors must register at www.fbo.gov.
