- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, TX, intends to issue solicitation 15B41820Q00000012 for the provision of Milk/Dairy Products.� The contractor shall provide delivery of the Milk/Dairy Products to Federal Correctional Complex (FCC), Terre Haute located at 4700 Bureau Road South, Terre Haute, Indiana 47802.� The products needed are as follows: Milk, Pasteurized, Nonfat, Skim or Fat Free, No Flavor. �� pint containers (1,500,000 EA); Cottage Cheese. Cultured or Acidified. Low Fat (2%), or Fat Free. Unflavored. Small or Large Curd. 5 lb container (2,000 EA); Sour Cream. Pasteurized. Reduced Fat, Low-Fat, or Nonfat. No flavor. 5 lb container (2,000 EA); Egg Nog. Pint container. (3,000 EA); Milk. CHOCOLATE. Pasteurized. Nonfat, Skim, or Fat Free. � pint containers (30,000 EA).� All deliveries shall be delivered between the hours of 6:30am � 2:30pm ET on the first Tuesday of the month at the above address. �Please refer to the attached Delivery Requirements for more details. �The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price.� The award will be made to the responsible vendor or individual who submits the lowest quote for award will be based solely on price related factors only. �The contract periods for the supplies will consist of a base year and one option year. �The solicitation will be available on or about June 24, 2020 and will be distributed solely through the SAMs website at www.beta.SAM.gov.� All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.� Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.� Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.� The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation.� The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on July 22, 2020. �Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.� All contractors doing business with the Federal Government are advised that this future solicitation includes the clause FAR 52.212-5 (Apr 2005) for Commercial Items and System for Award Management (SAM).� This clause requires all contractors doing business with the federal government after September 30, 2003, to be registered in the SAM database at www.sam.gov.� Contractors should include their Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number in their quotes.� The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award by entering the potential awardees DUNS number into the SAM database.� The acquisition is unrestricted. �The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 311511 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.
