Description: The University of Central Florida (UCF) is seeking a contractor to replace one of the main telescope suspension cables at the Arecibo Facility located in Puerto Rico. The project consists of the replacement of a 3� diameter stranded cable (M8-4) of roughly 700-foot length, and it is one of nine cables on the Arecibo telescope.
