Description
Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS) of Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a contract modification, including a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case. DWP funds in the amount of $161,000,000.00 US and $32,201,069.00 FMS funds will be used to initially fund this effort, in accordance with the Acquisition Decision Memorandum. Under this contract modification, the contractor will procure a limited subset of items necessary to maintain schedule for eventual manufacture and integration of 20 Standard Missile-3 Block IIA (SM-3 IIA) missiles for the United States (US) Government, and a limited subset of items necessary to maintain schedule for eventual manufacture and integration of up to four (4) SM-3 IIA missiles for Foreign Military Sale (FMS). The work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona. The performance period is from April 2018 through April 2022. The contract action also increases the Transition to Production (TTP) UCA Not-to-Exceed (NTE) value by $28,224,052.00 from $59,775,948.00 to $88,000,000.00 to continue developing Engineering Manufacturing Readiness Level (EMRL) 3 compliance, achieving sustained rate capability of producing two All-Up Rounds per month, demonstrating EMRL 4 compliance, and achieving Tactical Configuration Readiness. The not-to-exceed value of the limited subset of items is $387,187,200.00. This modification increases the total cumulative face value of the contract by $415,411,252.00 (from $694,348,965.00 to $1,109,760,217). The Missile Defense Agency, Dahlgren, VA is the contracting activity (# HQ0276-15-C-0003). ------------------------------------------------------------- Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a sole source, cost only contract modification (P00069) under previously awarded contract HQ0276-15-C-0003 to increase the CLIN 0014 undefinitized contract action not-to-exceed value by $267,178,800 from $387,187,200 to $654,366,000.� Under this modification, the ""pacing items only"" restriction is removed and the contractor is now authorized to work the full, unchanged, effort to manufacture, assemble, test and deliver 20 Standard Missile-3 Block IIA missiles and related efforts, and four missiles under Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case JA-P-ATB to Japan.� The value of the contract is increased by $267,178,800 from $1,198,400,240 to $1,465,579,040.� The work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona; and Huntsville, Alabama, with an estimated completion date of December 2022.� Fiscal 2018 procurement, defense-wide funds in the amount of $209,000,000; and FMS funds in the amount of $7,652,000 will be obligated at the time of award.� The Missile Defense Agency, Dahlgren, Virginia, is the contracting activity (HQ0276-15-C-0003).� This notice was originally posted by OSD/PA contract awards on�1 Nov 2019. -------------------------------------------------------------- Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a $1,022,573,692 sole-source, cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee modification under previously awarded contract HQ0276-15-C-0003.� The purpose of this modification is to:� (1) definitize the previously awarded SM-3 Block IIA fiscal 2018 undefinitized contract action (UCA) under contract line item numbers (CLINs) 0014 and 0015 for U.S. and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) All-Up Rounds (AUR)s production with a total value of $650,638,397; (2) award the fiscal 2019 SM-3 Block IIA U.S. and FMS AURs under CLINs 0016 and 0017 for a total value of $590,322,857; and (3) establish option CLINs 0018 and 0019 for the fiscal 2020 SM-3 Block IIA U.S. and FMS AUR production for a total value of $435,978,438.� Under this modification, the contractor will provide the management, material and services associated with the procurement, manufacture and assembly for a total of 62 SM-3 Block IIA AURs, inclusive of all options.� This modification increases the total cumulative face value of the contract by $1,022,573,692 from $1,467,045,869 to $2,489,619,561.� This work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona; and Huntsville, Alabama, with an expected period of performance from award through March 31, 2025.� Fiscal 2018 and 2019 procurement, defense wide funds in the amount of $89,954,275, and $256,725,708, respectively, will be obligated at time of award.� The Missile Defense Agency, Dahlgren, Virginia, is the contracting activity.���� This notice was originally posted by OSD/PA contract awards on 20 Dec 2019.
