Description

The 5th Contracting Squadron intends to procure a FAAC, Inc. Top-mount Pum-Ops Panel Training Simulator and a Fire Apparatus Driver Simulator on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory of 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented IAW FAR 13.501(a). The intended contract action will be a firm, fixed-price contract with FAAC, Inc., 1229 Oak Valley Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48108. The NAICS code for this procurement is 333318 with a size standard not to exceed 1,000 employees. The anticipated award date of the contract is 26 June 2020.� THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any small-business or large-business firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer prior to the anticipated award date of the contract. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
