- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command � New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of the Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Armament Center, intends to issue a sole source Request for Proposal (RFP) to LIST Technologies US, Inc. (LIST), 2231 Gateway Blvd., Charlotte, NC, 208208 for a quantity of (1) 25 Liter Mixer/Devolatizing System to be used for production of celluloid based end-items for the United States Government.� This sole source RFP is in accordance with Title 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) Section 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.� As described in FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), when the supplies or services required by the agency are available only from one responsible source, or for DoD, NASA and the Coast Guard, from only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, full and open competition need not be provided for. The respective Justification and Approval was approved on 22 June 2020. The applicable NAICS for this effort is 333249 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. �The resultant contract period of performance shall be six months.� THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP).� Further, this synopsis is not a guarantee of a future RFP and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government.� Responses to this synopsis are not considered proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
