- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.� It is the contractor�s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable FAR and DFARS clauses and provisions.� The FAR and DFARS clauses and provisions may be accessed in full text at www.acquisition.gov. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).� The solicitation number is N6264520R0066 Medical gases and rented gas cylinders are required by the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute (NAMI) Hyperbaric Medicine Department, Pensacola, FL in support of Hyperbaric Chamber operations. The scope of the requirement is listed in the Statement of Requirements. The closing date of the solicitation can be found within the Instructions to Quoters.�
