Description

The Defense Logistics Agency, Robins AFB, GA, will acquire electronic components in support of the AN/ALQ-161A Electronic Countermeasure (ECM) System on the B1-B aircraft. This effort is for the production of three SRUs used in the AN/ALQ-161A system. The Interface Logic Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) (NSN 5998-01-224-4326EW, PN 446901- 1) receives and transmits signals between Logic I/O A1A1 and several other assemblies in the Band 5 Aft Transmitter Power Supply Assembly. The Log IF Amplifier (NSN 5996-01-663- 9533EW, PN 2009459-1) is used in the IF Channelizer, which amplifies IF inputs from the Frequency Channelizer and provides 15 contiguous fine-frequency filter channels producing detected video outputs with amplitudes proportional (logarithmic) to the energy present in the IF pulse in the respective filter channel. The Encoder CCA (NSN 5998-01-217-8012EW, PN 436986-3) is a digital logic assembly used in 13 places in the Encoder LRU to perform encoding functions for Channels 2-14. This is a sole source requirement under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, under which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only L3 Harris Technologies Inc. (CAGE 82340). Drawings are not available from the procuring activity.
