Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart�12.6 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Instructions to offerors (Tailored for quotes under FAR part 13), evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR Provisions and Clauses are attached. The solicitation number is 70Z02920P8M254500 and issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-01. Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR 13.004, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR 12.302 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes, but is not limited to the following: In accordance with FAR 13.004, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified to be consistent with FAR 13.004. Where the word ""offer/offeror� or a derivative of that word appears, it is changed to ""quote/quoter� or a derivative of that word. This is a small business set aside, the applicable NAICS is 333921 and small business size standard is 1000. Product service code is 3960. This solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price Contract awarded to the offeror with the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.� The lowest price quote will be evaluated on technical acceptability.� If it is found to be acceptable, an award will be made.� If it is not found to be acceptable, the next lowest price will be evaluated.� This process will continue until a technically acceptable offer is identified. Offerors must be actively registered in System for Award Management - https://www.sam.gov. USCG Sector Mobile has a requirement to purchase a chair lift to include: Contractor will install a new chair-lift with all servicing accessories.� Contractor will reconfigure/install new electrical disconnects that meets the chair-lifts electrical requirements. Using existing electrical sources/pathways within the space where the chair is to be installed. Contractor will bring new system online and any supportive programmable components to ensure proper operation.�� Contractor will verify that system is operating in normal operating parameters and conduct training with key Coast Guard personnel on the operation of the new unit. Contractor will remove and dispose of trash and excess materials remaining after installation. � Chair lift shall meets the follow specifications: Must comply and meet ADA Standards� Be rated to hold at least 500 lbs. for a 18�rise and run. Lift platform to not exceed 55� 55� (upper and lower landing 55� x� 55�) Emergency egress with back-up power source via UPS or other incase of loss of main power source. Provide electrical contracting for 20A 120/220V circuit to meet equipment needs. Should not hinder normal egress when not in use and should be Collapsible or have the ability to fold towards wall. Compatible with existing concrete stairs. Seat/Bar or safety strap to secure individual on the platform with in use.� FAR 52.237-1 -- Site Visit (Apr 1984). Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Date and place of delivery and acceptance is on or before July, 25, 2020 Principle Place of Performance: U.S. Coast Guard Sector Mobile ������ 1500 15th Street� Mobile, AL 36615-1300 Period of Performance: The project shall be completed within twenty (14) calendar days after award date. All quotes are due at USCG Sector Mobile by the Close of Business 09 JULY 2020.
