Description: Genotyping for the OvineHD Beadchip.� This array has more than 600,000 genomic variants which greatly increases the probability of identifying genomic regions associated with traits of interest.� There are other commercially available ovine BeadChip, and is the Ovine SNP50 BeadChip which has approximately 54,000 genomic variants.� This is the only other specialized geneotyping for sheep.� The OvineHD BeadChip gives us much greater power to detect associated genomic regions compared with the Ovine SNP50 BeadChip. �
