- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm-Fixed Price order to Northrop Grumman Missions Systems (NGMS) under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement, N00019-20-G-0005, for the procurement of six (6) Barrett Asymmetric Digital Datalink Commputer (BADDC) air assemblies and four (4) BADDC ground assemblies to support the operation of special payloads on MQ-9 aircraft and allow the aircraft to operate on the United States Air Force (USAF) communications network.�� This acquistion�was pursued on a sole-source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."" A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is soley within the discretion of the Government.� This effort is covered under the Justification and Approval (J&A) number 19-0519 - redacted version attached to this announcement.�
