- Description
- The Veterans Administration Palo Alto VA Research and Development Group intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Metabolon to provide services customizable solutions with a variety of analysis tools to identify a broad set of metabolites (>1000) in human blood with assays, in accordance with FAR part 8.405-6. Vendors must demonstrate that their customizable solutions have been validated and documented in scientific literature and are able to provide consistency over several batches for up to 1000 samples. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Friday, 1600, EST. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Elaine DiBucci at elaine.dibucci@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
