Description

This is a sole source synopsis for the acquisition of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only. The Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARFORSOC) intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to purchase base life support services from SOC Nevada, 9 South Maine Avenue, Building #4, Hawthorne, NV 89415.� Estimated support services are as follows: Provide full access to all Hawthorne Army Depot (HWAD) ranges and adjacent range facilities. Provide port-a-johns and cleaning services, as well as trash collection and disposal services on HWAD. Provide billeting on HWAD and (2) buildings for team storage and communication center. A sole source contract is deemed appropriate as no other vendor is able to satisfy the Government�s requirements on location. One (1) Purchase Order (PO) contract utilizing Firm Fixed Price Contract Line Items is anticipated. Place of performance is Hawthorne Army Depot, NV. Period of performance is Aug 30 � Sep 12 2020. The estimated award date is scheduled for 1 Aug. Classification Data: NAICS Code: 561990 FSC Code: S216 SBA Applicability & Size Standard: $12 million Market Research indicated SOC Nevada LLC is the prime vendor on HWAD providing base life support services. Therefore, the requirement was removed from full and open competition. SOC Nevada LLC is the only vendor able to fulfill all the requirements This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or an exception to the Government's intent to purchase on a sole source basis within five (5) days of this notice. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government is not responsible for any cost incurred for submissions in response to this notice.
