- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract, on a sole source basis, with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC), CAGE 97942, 1580A W Nursery Rd, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090-2202. This procurement is a follow on to a Phase 1 F-35 Radar direct injection study conducted by NGSC. The contractor shall provide clarification of the Phase I study to address questions the Government has on specific interfaces described in the Phase I study.� The Contractor shall also deliver a ROM to the Government on the cost to develop an APG-81 Radar injection interface to be used in concert with the Radar Air-to-Ground Environment (RAGE) virtual�target stimulator for future F-35 FOT&E testing at Patuxent River.� The Government does not possess the technical data about the F-35 Radar system that would be required for an alternate source to provide the services.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by11:59 AM�EDT on 14 July 2020 will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice must include the company name, point of contact, address, area code and telephone number, telecopy (fax) number, electronic mail (e-mail) address and company literature sufficient to determine the capability of this company to perform this effort.
