- Bid Abstract Posted: 26 June 2020 Updated as of 16 June 2020, The Purpuse of Amendment 02 is�add a question to request�for information: 1. RFI Question : Could the Government please clarify what supplier and /or specifications to use for CH-1? ANSWER:� A plate and frame condenser will be acceptable for CH-1, but all other requirements shall remain.� The new chiller shall� be equivalent to a Trane Cold Generator CICD (Brand Name or Equal).� It shall aslo have a minimum EER of 16 FL. Update as of 10�June 2020, Vendors shall submit a bid for W91151-20-B-0011, submit an email with the subject line �Intent to bid for W91151-20-B-0011�� to Jermain.m.compton.civ@mail.mil and Alison.schuman.civ@mail.mil�by�17 June 2020 at 04:00 PM�CST. By 04:00 PM CST,�18 June 2020, you will receive an email from DoD Safe to create a drop-off (please see pages 10- 12 of attached DoD SAFE user guide). Bidders shall submit their bids via DoD SAFE no later than 29 June 2020 at 09:00 AM CST, late submittals may not be accepted. Bidders should include bid number W91151-20-B-0011 in their short note to recipient on DoD SAFE. No hard copies or CDs will be accepted. The Bidder can upload up to a maximum of 25 files, (total size cannot exceed 8GB). The Bidder shall place a Description of each file uploaded located in the ""Description of File(s)"" box located on the right. It is the Bidder's responsibility to ensure the proposal is uploaded acceptably. PUBLIC BID Public Bid openings will be held via telephone conference on 29 June 2020 at 1000am CST.� The call in number will be 978-990-5000, Pin 304649 ****NOTE**** BID OPENING MAY CHANGE TO FACE-TO-FACE BID OPENING PENDING COVID- 19 RESTRICTIONS Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Hood is issuing a SOLICITATION NOTICE for an Invitation for Bids (IFB) firm fixed price construction contract that is replace three water-cooled, heat-pump chillers at building 56059 with one non-reversible chiller.� This chiller shall serve two existing air handlers on different floors.� Work shall also include installing a new hot-water (HW) heating coil in each air handler (2 total), running new piping from an existing boiler to each new heating coil, installing two new HW pumps, installing a new chilled-water buffer tank, and modifying existing HVAC controls. This acquisition is 100% set aside for SDVOSB; Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business under NAICS 238220 (Size Standard $16.5M). The estimated magnitude of the procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000. All work under this contract will be performed within the confines of the Fort Hood Military Installation, at Fort Hood, TX. The Wage Determination: General Decision Number: TX20200007 01/03/2020, Superseded General Decision Number: TX20190007; State: Texas; Construction Type: Building; County: Bell County in Texas, will govern work under this contract. The bid guarantee in the amount shall be at least 20% of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million. Performance and payment bonds must equal 100 percent of the original contract price. A site visit will be conducted for this solicitation on May 20, 2020, at 10:00 AM CST at building 56059. �Details of the site visit is available in the solicitation.
