The purpose of the Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of any potential qualified sources of supply to meet DoD needs for the Joint Lightweight Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) initiative for the following three (3) National Stock Numbers (NSNs) listed below are approve CAGE Code and Part Number Items.� NSN: 3040016595990 - Item Name: SHAFT,SHOULDERED NSN: 4010016749681- Item Name: WIRE ROPE ASSEMBLY, NSN:� 6150016717674 - Item Name: WIRING HARNESS Please review the Market Research Spreadsheet (which is included in this posting) for the NSN(s) required and provide any sources that may be able to manufacture these items. The only approved source for these NSN(s) currently is �listed on the Market Research Spreadsheet. IMPORTANT NOTICE: The resultant solicitation will be issued as either a Commercial (FAR Part 12) or Non-Commercial (FAR Part 15) procurement. For us to determine if an item is commercial, we need you to provide the types of documentation specified in the Market Survey questionnaire. Based on that documentation, the government will determine if your items are commercial per the definition found at FAR 2.101(b). It is your responsibility to provide the data that helps the Contracting Officer make that determination. If any of your items have already been determined commercial, please let us know that too. Please submit the proof of commerciality along with the market research package. Please note: without adequate proof of commerciality, the acquisition will have to be worked as a Non-Commercial (FAR Part 15) procurement; which may require Certified Cost and Pricing Data.
