Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Wildlife Services (WS) in Barrigada, Guam has a need for Rodent Feed. This product will be used in the production of for the live mice that are used as attractants in Brown Tree snake (BTS) traps located in Guam and islands of the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas. This procurement will be awarded as a commercial supply, fixed-price IDIQ contract, for a period not to exceed 5 years, FOB destination. This solicitation will be issued as a total small business set-aside. The Government anticipates awarding a fixed-price Ordering type contract. The appropriate NAICS code for this procurement is 311119 � Other Animal Food Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 500 employees. On a weekly basis, up to twenty (20) bags (50# each) of rodent feed will be delivered to the�Barrigada Office every Monday (Tuesday if Monday is a Holiday) for 52 weeks beginning October 01, 2020. Vendor to ensure an uninterrupted supply of rodent feed is delivered weekly unless occurrences beyond vendors control dictate a shortage. In this instance, the vendor will�provide the maximum amount available and make up shortages in successive deliveries. THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS NOT OBLIGATED TO SEND NOTIFICATIONS TO INDIVIDUALS REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF INTERESTED PARTIES TO CHECK THIS WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR UPDATES. In accordance with FAR 52.209-4 - First Article Approval -- Government Testing; quoters shall send a 5 pound sample for testing and must be received 5 days before solicitation close date; together with a certified analysis (physical, chemical, biological) of content in order to be considered for award. The First Article Test sample shall be delivered to the Barrigada, Guam Facility for testing prior to the solicitation closing date when posted. The Government does not intend to pay for preparation of the sample nor the samples submitted by the respective quoter. The government does not intend to return any unused portion of the sample provided by the respective quoter.
