- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on behalf of the Department of Treasury, intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price, sole source contract to The Boeing Company, located at 131 National Business Parkway, Annapolis Junction, MD� 20701, on or about July 24, 2020.� This will be under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304 as implemented by FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) � Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219.� The corresponding SIC Code is 7010. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement.� This is a Notice of Intent to Award using other than full and open competition and should not be considered a request for information on whether additional vendor have the capability to perform this service.� NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE.� A request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered for a response.� No telephone inquiries will be accepted.� Responses to this notice must be emailed to K. Lynne Winemiller at Kathy.L.Winemiller@irs.gov.� All responses must be received no later than noon Eastern Standard Time on July 22, 2020 and will be considered by the Government.� All information submitted should support the offeror�s capability to provide the services required and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.� Responses must be in writing and provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror�s bona fide capability to provide these services.� Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.� Any responses received as a result of this notice, shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a future competitive requirement.� Responses will NOT be considered as either proposals or bids.� A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon any written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.� The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of your capability statements or proposals.
