- Request for Information (RFI): Propulsor Support Hardware � Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is requesting assistance from commercial industry to conduct market research as well solicit recommendations on how best to define requirements for fabrication of hardware to support propulsor component construction, shipment, and installation. The purpose of this RFI is to conduct market research by soliciting industry comments and feedback. Market Research is being conducted to determine all potential socio-economic small businesses and large businesses interested in, and capable of, providing the support services identified herein. �This posting is issued in accordance with the requirements of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 10.� Responses should include the following:� 1. Cover page, not to exceed one (1) page that includes:� a. Organization name, CAGE code and address� b. Point of contact name and contact information� c. Size and type of organization, including if applicable U.S. small business or other status� e. Brief statement of interest that indicates the organization�s interest in applying as a prime or subcontractor.� 2. �Response to NSWCCD objectives, shall not exceed 25 pages. Interested parties shall describe their capabilities and provide past performance to performing tasking outlined in the attached DRAFT statement of work (SOW). �NSWCCD is also seeking industry feedback on the following questions provided below. Furthermore, interested parties shall also address any barriers to satisfying the DRAFT SOW and provide recommendations, such as modifications that would be required to be able to satisfy task areas within the DRAFT SOW.� NSWCCD Questions:� 1.�� �Which sections of the DRAFT SOW are you capable of performing? Outline your capabilities (equipment, facilities, and personnel qualifications) to perform these tasks. 2.�� �Outline your experience performing tasks related to the DRAFT SOW, particularly in accordance with the standards/qualifications given in the references. 3.�� �Which sections of the DRAFT SOW are unclear or require more information in order for you to evaluate your ability to perform them? 4.�� �Which portions of the DRAFT SOW and associated references limits your ability to meet the DRAFT SOW requirements?� 5.�� �Do you have any recommendations on contract vehicle, contract type or/and CLIN structure? NSWCCD intends to fulfill this requirement via a multi-award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) orders with an anticipated award date of Fourth Quarter, Fiscal Year 2021. �Alternatively, NSWCCD is considering issuing multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for this effort and will issue orders as necessary.� The attached drawings are locked. The locked documents are ONLY available to contractors with an approved Joint Certification Program (JCP) DD Form 2345. Firms must be approved on https://public.logisticsinformationservice.dla.mil/jcp/search.aspx. �Contractors must have the JCP clearance loaded into FBO and request access through FBO to be granted approval.
