- Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 the Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Climatemp Service Group for maintenance and repair of Northern Air Systems Primary Cooling System, mobile MRI cooling trailer. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106-3(b)(3)(i), only one responsible source, pursuant to market research conducted, including a Sources Sought notice posted to Opportunities, 36C26220Q0417. This will be a firm fixed-price contract for a one-year base plus four one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811219 with a business size standard of $22 million. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 10:00 AM local time July 21, 2020. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
