- Description
- This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source for the purchase two (2) OBIS 488mm LS 20mW Laser, two (2) OBIS 561mm LS 20mW Laser, four (4) OBIS single laser remote with PS and four (4) OBIS Heat Sink with Fan provided by Edmund Optics, Inc for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, �Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,� as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) intends to award a Purchase Order to Edmund Optics, 101 East Gloucester Pike, Barrington, NJ, 08007, for Edmund products, which are installed at NIEHS, Research Triangle Park campus. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219, with a small business size standard of $22.0 million dollars. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. It has been determined that Edmund Optics is the only known responsible source capable of providing the required products and no other services will satisfy the agency�s requirement.
