Description
This solicitation pertains to the purchase of four new Transformer Inert Air Systems with Full-length Cabinets, as described, for Government installation at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, Dworshak Project, Ahsahka, Idaho (Dworshak Project). The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 335311, with a Small Business Size Standard of 750 employees as determined by 13 CFR 121.104. Competition for this requirement is Set-Aside for small business. Offers received from other than small business offerors will not be considered. When available, the solicitation documents for this project W912EF20Q0110 will be provided via Beta.SAM https://www.beta.sam.gov on or around 15 July 2020. Please do not submit a quote without the solicitation package that will be provided to industry by the Government as specified above. The solicitation will be a Request for Quote (RFQ). The official quotation due date will be contained in the solicitation and any solicitation amendments that may be issued. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS The Offeror must provide sufficient product literature with their quote for the Government to determine whether the product meets the salient requirements below without further clarification. �SYSTEM SALIENT REQUIREMENTS 1.1� Low-pressure Nitrogen Regulators Three-stage nitrogen pressure regulation First stage from 2200 psi to 100 psi Second stage from 100 psi to 7 psi Third stage from adjustable output from 7 psi to 0.2 psi with factory set point at 0.5 psi, Must include Built in pressure relief at 5 psi and 3 psi vacuum Must also be self-resetting once pressure has dropped relief setting Adjustable alarm contacts for both high and low pressure following the third stage pressure regulation, factory setting shall be 5.5 psi for high pressure and 0.2 psi for low pressure Must include third stage bypass setting to allow quicker transformer filling Low nitrogen supply alarm contact, factory setting at 400 psi, low supply alarm point must be adjustable between 100 psi to 500 psi All alarm contacts rated for 125 VDC or higher Visual indication of pressure after second and third stage pressure regulation � 1.2� Full-length Cabinet � Cabinet must enclose the regulators, alarms contacts, and one standard K style nitrogen cylinder (244 cubic foot bottle) Tank pressure and final regulated pressure shall be visible without opening cabinet Must include hose and standard nitrogen bottle connection Must include a latching door � Example of one possible transformer inert air system as an illustration of the system: SPX P/N N2-10A37400 Important Note: the Beta.SAM response date listed elsewhere in this synopsis is for Beta.SAM archive purposes only.
