Description
The USPFO for Alabama intends to issue and Invitation for Bid to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for The Global Aircrew Strategic Network Terminal (Global ANST) project Birmingham, AL (Jefferson County).� This project will consist of the construction of a 250 square foot addition to building 149. The addition will include a HVAC system, electrical service, and firewater piping. Additionally, encompassed in the project will be the repair and replacement of 228 square feet of existing parachute tower roof, and the construction of a small antenna platform on the tower roof. The project will be on Sumpter Smith Joint National Guard Base, Birmingham, AL. All security requirements for working on a military installation will be followed. The contract duration is 60 days after NTP.� This project is set aside 100% for Small Business.� The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a size standard of $39,500,000.00.� The magnitude is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.� Your attention is directed to FAR clause 52.219-14(b)(4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states �By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror/Contractor agrees that in performance of the contact the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees�.� A�pre-bid conference will be held July 28, 2020 at 10:00 am local time, location is building 700 classroom.� Interested contractors are highly encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation.� A site visit will follow the pre-bid conference.
