- This is a special notice provided for informational purposes only, prepared in accordance with FAR 5.2 - Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) Joint Administrative Operations, Acquisition and Property Operations, Goods and Services Operations located at 911 NE 11th Ave. Portland, OR 97232 plans to issue an award in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) to Loligo Systems ApS. Through market research and technical experience, the UFWS has determined that Loligo Systems provides a unique apparatus (swim chamber with precise flow and monitoring systems) to allow the USFWS to simulate riverine conditions of flow and temperature. Only a precise flow swim chamber can provide us with replicated experimental conditions necessary for validated studies. The ultimate goal for such work is to provide water managers with actionable data on disease transmission under a range of river. This notice is not a request for proposal/quote or invitation for bid. A solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with this notice of intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the proposed services can provide supporting documents demonstrating capability for consideration. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred in response to this notice.
