- This HREP project includes the construction of floodplain forests and berms of various sizes and shapes within the Mississippi River, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.� McGregor Lake is a 201-acre, shallow lake, situated mid river between Marquette, Iowa and Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin in Mississippi River. The project features include 6-floodplane forest areas, habitat dredge channels, erosion protection structures. Such features have the objective of improving aquatic and terrestrial habitat all without impacting navigation.� In�accordance with DFARS 236-204, the anticipated magnitude of this project is reported as �Between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. A site visit has been scheduled. Date: Wednesday, July 22 Time: 1 PM Meeting Location: Marquette Boat Ramp (Marquette, IA, by Hw y 18 bridge) Due to the nature to the construction location most of the site visit will be done using boats. If your firm is not planning on bringing your own watercraft to the site visit please let us know by COB Monday, along with the number of personnel you're looking to bring, so that we can try and make arrangements for transportation; as due to COVID-19 social distancing requirements the number of personnel we can have on each watercraft is very limited.
