SDVOSBS Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Sole Source (FAR 19.14)
 
Description
The Puerto Rico Army National Guard (PRARNG) intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for the Purchase and Installation of Standby Power Generators with Automatic and Manual Transfer Switch. The purchase and installation consist of one 60KW Standby diesel Generator, two-125KW Standby diesel Generator and one 300KW Standby diesel Generator. �All Power Generators will be mounted over a reinforced 16� x 8� (Approximately) concrete slab and will be protected by metal/ concrete bollards. Magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Period of Performance is 120 calendar days after notice to proceed to include punch list and final inspection. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 238210. This is a Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. Your attention is directed to FAR Clause 52.219-14 (b)(4) Limitations on Subcontracting which states ""By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract in the case of a contract for Construction by a general contractors, the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees"" applies to this project. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about 22 July 2020. The date for the pre-bid conference is on 21 July 2020 at 8:00 AM. This conference will be held at Camp Santiago Joint Training Center Theater, PR 00751. Specific details will be posted in the solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and access requirements shown below. A site visit will follow the pre-proposal conference. Question due dated is 4:00 PM 28 August 2020. The solicitation closing date is scheduled for on-or about 9:00 am 21 August 2020 at Camp Santiago Joint Training Center Theater, PR 00751. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. Price is the evaluation factor. The Government intends to award without discussions. The upcoming solicitation will be a competitive bid and there will be a formal public bid opening. Place of performance is Camp Santiago Joint Training Center, PR 00751.
