Description: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AT CULPEPER NATIONAL CEMETERY | LOCATED IN CULPEPER VIRGINIA, WITHIN CULPEPER COUNTY. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration (NC), is Soliciting Bids under Solicitation Number 36C78620B0008 for the Culpeper National Cemetery, located at 305 U.S. Avenue, Culpeper, VA 22701. The acquisition type will be an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The IFB will utilize the Electronic Bid delivery and Telephone Bid Opening process. The process will be outlined in the forthcoming solicitation DESCRIPTION: The Construction Contractor shall provide labor, material, tools, equipment, professional service and supervision required for the construction and performance of all work In Accordance With (IAW) the Solicitation Plans, Specifications, Drawings, required permits, terms and conditions. The purpose of this project is to provide Columbarium, Facility Renovation, Improvements, Repairs, and Pre-Placed Crypts as described in this Scope of Work (SOW), Drawings, Specifications per the Construction Documents and terms and conditions herein including: All work associated with project number 839CM3028; columbarium, facility renovation, improvements, and repairs. Construct per project number 839CM3028 construction documents and specifications. All work associated with project number 839CM3030; PPC installation, and improvements construct per construction documents and specifications. Precast concrete crypts procurement and delivery to the project site for project number 839CM3030, construct per construction documents and specifications Milling and paving of roadway used for construction access during construction for project number 839CM3030, construct per construction documents. PER VAAR 836.204 COST MAGNITUDE: Between $5,000,000 And $10,000,000 THE AWARD OF THIS FUTURE CONTRACT IS SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FY-20 FUNDS. Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) 14 to a responsible Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) responding to this solicitation. Only verified SDVOSB firms are eligible to submit an offer or receive an award of a VA contract that is Set-Aside for SDVOSB in accordance with VAAR Part 819.
