Title: REPAIR CONCRETE BLDG. 192 Location: Selfridge Air National Guard Base, MI 48045 (Macomb County) Period of Performance: 90 Calendar Days Issue Date: Tentatively 28 February 2020 Pre Proposal Conference and Site Visit: Tentatively 10 March 2020, 10:00 am Closing Date: Tentatively 28 March 2020, 2:00 pm Award date: Tentatively� 10 April 2020 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project generally consists of removing and replacing approximately 3500 sq. yards of concrete pavement panels in the Bldg. 192 fuels parking area and� other related work. The work generally includes cleaning, routing, and sealing� of existing cracks and pavement joints. Also, removal, salvage, and reinstallation of electrical cabinets as well as steel bollard and ground construction. Work is to be completed as a �Fixed Price Construction Contract� Estimated quantities provided on the plan sheets are provided for bidders use and provide for a consistent basis for the contract fix price. The projects magnitude is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This requirement will be 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. Offers from other than Small Business concerns will not be considered. For Small Business information please see http://www.sba.gov/. The following NAICS code 238990 will apply with the Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 Million. This project will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract. The successful contractor will be chosen via Invitation for Bid procedures that result in the best value to the Government.� All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. Solicitation W50S85-20-B-0002 information will be advertised electronically on or about 25 February 2020 at https://www.fbo.gov/ with an award date on or about 10 April 2020. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the invitation for bids and is most advantageous to the Government considering only price and price related factors. This synopsis of proposed contract action is for planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to pay for any information, issue a solicitation, or award a contract. The synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement. Paper copies will not be available.
