- THIS SOLICITATION IS THE FOLLOW-ON SOLICITATION FOR THE CANCELLED POSTING OF FA2823-20-R-0013, RENOVATE BLDG. 892. Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), FL has a requirement to renovate Bldg. 892 on Eglin AFB, FL. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 236220. The acquisition is unrestricted � full and open competition. This project includes, but is not limited to the following:� FTFA 17-1042 is to renovate the interior and some portions of the exterior of Building 892, construct a new single story facility and procure and install furniture, Building 892B.� The contractor will construct this project, in accordance with the Statement of Work and drawings dated 23 January 2019. Period of Performance for this project is 364 days after notice to proceed. Work will include removal of existing exterior, interior, structural components, finishes, ceilings, walls, windows, doors, associated hardware and the installation of upgraded components as shown on the construction documents.� It also includes replacing the existing standing seam metal roof, replacing existing HVAC system, electrical upgrade and complete repair of the restrooms, along with the construction of new single-story building with secret and top secret areas. It will include the procurement and installation of furniture into the newly constructed single-story building. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The performance period is 364 days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP).� The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment in accordance with the specifications. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM database will render your firm ineligible for award.�Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. This solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov. For information on how to register your company on FBO, to view or receive updates and notifications to the solicitation, please reference the FBO Vendor Guide located on the FBO web site home page. NO paper copies of the solicitation will be furnished. Offerors must thoroughly review the specifications and drawings and submit all questions no later than the date specified in Section L of the solicitation.� At the site visit, detailed at clause 52.236-27 Alternate I of the solicitation, offerors will be required to submit questions in writing to the Contracting Officer by the date following specified in Section L.� Verbal questions and responses at the site visit will not be considered official unless received in writing.� Any questions not submitted in writing by the specified time will not be entertained and will not form a basis for an extension of the proposal due date.� Official responses to questions received, will be posted to fbo.gov within 3-days.
