Description
STATEMENT OF WORK Pulmonary Medicine, Kansas City VA Medical Center Introduction: The Kansas City VA Medical Center (KC VAMC) Biomedical Engineering Department requires the purchase of Name Brand or Equal Fluke Raysafe X2 portable Radiation Survey Meter to accommodate current and future needs. Background & Justification: Radiation Survey meters are used for preventive maintenance, testing and calibrating of all Radiology modalities and associated equipment such as R/F, MAM, CT, and Radiology Reading station monitors via its Light meter. The latest Fluke Raysafe X2 would bring additional capabilities compared to the current unit in use. Current System: We currently use the Fluke Triad TnT Xray Calibration kit. Building/Facility Address: 4801 Linwood Blvd, KC, MO 64128, Building 1, 11th floor room M11-302. Minimum Requirements & Salient Characteristics: Ability to test mAs, mA, time, Pulses, Pulse rate, mAs/Pulse, light/luminance, dose, Air Kerma, Mean Energy, and waveforms. Small form factor to allow for easy manipulation of image measurement settings, especially useful in crowded environments when space is a premium, such as in an x-ray room or radiology reading room. Hardware: 2 complete kits to include the X2 Survey sensor, storm case, vacuum holder, R/F, MAM, CT, and light sensors would be required in facility to allow simultaneous use for 2 different technicians and to allow for having a unit onsite even during calibration of the other unit. Charger/Charging Stations Systems: The X2 system comes with a battery charger and Lion battery that allows 10+ hours of continuous intensive use. Protective Case Systems: Case for protection of the units while not in use. Must be compatible with the Fluke Triad TNT X-Ray Calibration Kit. Design: N/A Configuration: At the time of delivery. Name Brand or Equal to the Fluke RaySafe X2 Portable Radiation Survey Meter.
