- Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Hood is issuing a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE for an Request for Quote (RFQ) firm fixed price service contract for �Agricultural Disinfecting of Equipment. This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 561710 (Size Standard $12 Million) and Product Service Code is 9999 -Miscellaneous. In accordance with FAR Part 12 � Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 � Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government will award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the terms and condition of the solicitation most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The purpose of this requirement is to perform Agricultural Disinfecting of Equipment at Fort Hood, Texas 76544. This is a non-personnel service contract for the Agricultural Disinfecting of Equipment with Virkon Aquatic 1% solution at Fort Hood, Texas. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. All work shall be performed by personnel qualified in accordance with (IAW) applicable laws and regulations. The contractor shall disinfect unit equipment to reduce the transmission of diseases carried by organic material. The tentative Period of Performance (POP) is established as follows: 1 September 2020 to 3 December 2020.� The CLIN structure for this requirement are as follows: CLIN 0001 Service/Materials, CLIN 0002 Mobilization and CLIN 0003 Contractor Management Reporting (CMR). An organized site visit may be conducted for this procurement. Details of that site visit will be available in the solicitation. The intent is to establish work requirements that are performance-based and results - oriented. The provider of the services shall determine the best and most cost effective ways to fulfill the Agricultural Disinfectant of Equipment requirement and their component needs, emphasizing innovation and commercial best practices. The solicitation will be issued on or about 22 July 2020 under solicitation number W91151-20-Q-0176 to the Sam Beta website (SamBeta.Gov) at https://beta.sam.gov/ and the proposed closing date for this solicitation will be 12 August 2020. No paper copies of this solicitation are available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to all documents. Interested parties must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov �to receive a government contract award. Offerors shall register in SAM as well at https://www.sam.gov. The tentative Contract Award date will be 22 August 2020.
