- Description: The USSOOCM is currently seeking sources for the manufacture and delivery of .338 Norma Magnum Multi-Purpose (MP) ammunition and 6.5 Creedmoor Multi-Purpose (MP) ammunition in accordance with the attached performance specifications.�The Government reserves the right to award two separate contracts if it is decided to be�in the best interest of the public.�� Planned Acquisition:� The Government contemplates an award for 2nd quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 2021.� The estimated quantity of ammunition to be procured is up to 400K cartridges each.� Submission Information:� All responsible and interested sources should submit their production capabilities for producing the requested ammunition to the Government Detailed specification.� The respondent must demonstrate and provide valid documentation that they have the manufacturing ability to produce the requested ammunition. Please identify any Proprietary information submitted. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this market survey. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this request. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. Please include company name, address, telephone number, email address, technical point of contact, Cage Code, Company Size (please specify as either Large, Foreign, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Woman-Owned Small Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone concern, Veteran-Owned Small Business, or Service-Disabled Small Business), brochures/literature. This is only a Request for Information, not a pre-solicitation notice. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published.
