- Sources Sought/ Request for Information (RFI) This sources sought is released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201 for market research purposes only. This announcement is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to seek quotations or award a contract at this time. Sources Sought: The 92d Contracting Squadron is issuing this sources sought seeking to identify responsible potential sources to provide the following: 1 each/Ionscan 600-Portable/Desktop Explosives & Narcotics Detector 1 each/Desktop Verification Pen 1 each/Swab Multi-Pack 25 (for 5k analyses) On-Site Extended Warranty (four additional years/initial warranty is for one year) Operator Training at customer site (10 participants) The requirement is for a brand name. However, businesses are encouraged to respond with products that would beet This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. Pricing information is not being requested at this time. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. If your firm is indeed capable of providing the services required, you are invited to submit a capability statement of no more than five (5) pages, and no smaller than 11 point Times New Roman font. Moreover, all capability statements must also include: the name of the firm, point of contact, e-mail address, phone number, address of firm, the CAGE number for the prime entity, and if applicable the GSA Contract Number. Responses shall be provided via email to SSgt James Forth, Contract Specialist, at no later than 2:00 p.m. PDT on 24 July 2020. 92d Contracting Squadron personnel may contact firms responding to this announcement to clarify a responder�s capabilities and other matters as part of this market research process.
