Description

***THE ENTIRETY OF THIS PROJECT IS TO BE COMPLETED IN INTERIOR ALASKA*** This is a solicitation for Project# DPW-18065-8J, Roof Repair, B1045, Fort Wainwright, Alaska. � The U.S. Army has a requirement to repair the roof of building 1045, Fort Wainwright, Alaska. The roof is currently functioning as a cold roof and the thermal envelope design is failing. The contractor shall provide all engineering, labor, equipment, and materials to perform the work required, in strict accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations. � A site visit will be conducted on 30 July 2020 at 9:00 AM Alaska Time. See solicitation document for more information regarding the site visit. Failure to attend the site visit listed in FAR Clause 52.236-27 in order identify obvious site conditions does not constitute a valid claim for differing or unforeseen site conditions. � Any questions must be submitted by e-mail to the point of contacts (POCs) identified below no later than 4 August 2020 by 1:00 PM Alaska Time. All questions will be responded to through beta.SAM.gov only. � The period of performance for this project is 400 calendar days after receiving a notice to proceed (NTP). NTP will be issued 10 days after the date the contract is awarded. � The disclosure of magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 IAW FAR 36.204(e). This acquisition is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside based upon North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 238160, size standard of $16.5 million. The Government intends to award one Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for this project. This solicitation is issued electronically. It is only available via the official beta.SAM.gov website. Potential bidders are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package as no paper copies will be furnished. Potential bidders shall register at beta.SAM.gov in order to receive notifications and/or changes to solicitation. � All Bidders MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in order to be considered for award. Bidders may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov.
