- The Department of Veterans Affairs NCO 20, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) (single source), intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order with one Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) source, HurtVet Subcontracting. The procurement is for Fire sprinkler inspection at our Walla Walla VAMC and Yakima CBOC. NAICS 561621 applies. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. This procurement will be made under the authority of Title 38 U.S.C. 8127 and implemented under VAAR 819.7007. IAW VAAR 819.7007(b), sole source awards to SDVOSB concerns, the Contracting Officer s determination whether to make a sole source award is a business decision wholly within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. - Responses must be received no later than 10am PST on 22 July 2022. All responses must be e-mailed to craig.brown7@va.gov . This requirement is for: Department of Veterans Affairs Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center 77 Wainwright Dr. Bldg. 80 Walla Walla, WA 99362 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the marketplace for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
