Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number FA4497-20-R-Paint_Booth_Removal is being issued as a Request for Quote. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract.� The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-08. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811310 and the size standard is $8.0M. The contractor shall provide the service listed below, which is to be performed on Dover, AFB. CLIN0001: Provide removal and palletization of an obsolete Col-Met enclosed paint booth in accordance with attached Performance Work Statement.� The contractor must take the equipment apart in a manner that it could be reassembled at a later date. No items will be cut, bent or broken to facilitate removal of the mentioned equipment. The contractor will disconnect all electrical and gas connection directly connected to the paint booth. Lastly, all hardware, and small parts, removed will be collect, identified, and attached to the item from which it was removed. The contractor will provide material to affix removed equipment to a pallets, or pallets, to be turned in. The equipment must be banded to 48�x 96� pallet(s) and the pallet(s) must be designed to be forklifted onto a truck.
