Description
The Government has a requirement for Cranes, Lifts, And Hoist Inspections, Maintenance, Repair And Certification (See attachments).�This will be a single award contract on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis pursuant to the award evaluation criteria stated in FAR clause 52.212-2. The Government intends to award a contract without discussions. Therefore, offerors are cautioned to examine the solicitation attachment�in its entirety and to ensure that their quote contains all necessary information, provides all required documentation, and is complete in all respects. Per FAR provision 52.212-1(g), the offeror's initial quote should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions, if determined necessary by the Contracting Officer. *****Amendment 1 July 13, 2020****** The Attachment A - Equipment List was added during the first amendment to this solicitation**** ***** Amendment 2 July 14, 2020 ****** A site visit will be conducted on 17 July 2020 at 10:00AM at the BEP Washington DC facility. �Participants are encouraged to be present at the tour bridge entrance at least 10 minutes prior.� Entrance to the building will begin no later than 10 minutes pass the 10:00 AM start time.� The point of contact for the site visit is Richard Popp, Richard.popp@bep.gov.� �Individuals shall follow the screening guidance below as there are designated times to enter the building.� The maximum number of individuals for this site visit is seven.� Another site visit will not be conducted unless the number of interested participants exceeds seven and where the recommended CDC guidelines cannot be followed. All individuals shall have on their person a Government issued photo ID to gain access to the facility (THIS IS MANDATORY, NO EXCEPTION). DCF Temperature Screenings: New temperature screening times and locations for the DCF are in effect as of Thursday, July 2.� As another layer of protection aimed at preventing the spread of the coronavirus, surface body temperatures are being measured using non-contact thermometers for all individuals entering DCF in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance. Any individual with an elevated temperature at or above 100.4?F will be denied access to the facility.� Individuals who have a temperature or do not feel well or are sick should stay at home and monitor their symptoms � consulting a healthcare provider if they worsen. As a reminder, screenings will be done outside of the tour bridge on the west side of 14th street at the hours listed below:� Monday to Friday � Tour Bridge:� 4:30 � 9 a.m. � Tour Bridge:� 10 � 11 a.m. Entry into the facility will only be granted during the designated hours. �Individuals are required to wear a face covering (NO EXCEPTIONS) when entering and departing the building and should be mindful of maintaining recommended COVID-19 preventive measures while on-site. Please remember to continue to follow preventive COVID-19 measures to keep everyone safe, including staying home if feeling unwell or sick; physical distancing whenever possible; properly wearing a mask or face covering when social distancing can�t be maintained; using proper cough and sneeze etiquette; and, using hand sanitizer and washing hands as often as possible. ******Amendment 3 : Questions and Answers to Solicitation****** Question 1: Can you verify with program POC on height of crane or possible site visit? Answer 1: The height for the crane is between 10-15 ft. and the �site visit is on 17 July 2020 at 10:00AM Question 2: Is this a new requirement? Answer 2:� No; it is not a new requirement. Question 3: If not a new requirement, can you provide the previous contract number? Answer 3: The previous contract number was TEP15-34641 Question 4: What is the height of the tallest overhead crane/hoist we will need to complete services for? Answer 4:� The tallest overhead hoist/crane will be approximately 15 feet above finished floor. ****** Amendment 4 Question and Answer to Solicitation ****** Question: Are there 12 monthly inspections or 11 monthly and 1 annual? Answer: Yes, 11 monthly and 1 annual Inspection
