Description
Amendment 1 07.20.20 adds REVISED Price Schedule (add line item 003 - 2 Tree Removal), REVISED Statement of Work (SOW), REVISED Construction Specifications 1 and 426, in additions, add the Questions and Answers (Q&A) from both the Pre-Bid Teleconference and Site Visit Showing to include a list of attendees. AMENDED 07.02.2020. This solicitation is amended to� add the Solicitation packet and Attachments The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation � Acquisition Division intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) in accordance with FAR PART 13 on behalf of the United State Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resource Conservation Services (NRCS) has a requirement for Residential Parcel Demolition and Site Finishing for the State of Connecticut, USDA NRCS. This procurement will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside ACQUISITION and will be released under Solicitation Number 12FPC120Q0039. The small business size standard is based on the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238910 Site Preparation Contractors with a size standard of $15.0 million average annual income. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. ��The work consists of all labor, equipment, materials, services, insurance, permits, licenses, notifications and other incidentals necessary and proper to demolish residential building(s), other residential on-site structures, remove building debris and all other miscellaneous environmental items on sponsor identified site(s). The work will consist of the following: ����������� 1. ������� Mobilization/Demobilization ����������� 2.�������� Site Preparation ����������� 3.�������� Haz-Mat handling and removal ����������� 4.�������� Stripping of structures ����������� 5.�������� Demolition of structures ����������� 6.�������� Disposal and dumping (including hazardous materials) ����������� 7.�������� Decommissioning of septic system (if historic septic remains) ����������� 8.�������� Clean-Up� ����������� 9.�������� Site grading and shaping ����������� 10.������ Seeding and Topsoil ����������� 11.������ Vegetation restoration�� A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under Simplified Acquisition procedures in FAR Part 13 and FAR 36 will apply. An Award will be made to the responsible offeror representing the best value to the government.���� PROJECT DURATION. �90 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued.��� SUMMARY. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supplies and travel necessary to provide the required services in accordance with the statement of work, specifications, and terms and conditions of the contract, and other attachments provided ESTIMATE PRICE RANGE. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. SITE VISIT (CONSTRUCTION). Site visit information will be outlined in the solicitation. Site showings are typically held within 1-2 weeks from the date the solicitation is posted in www.beta.SAM.gov. The purpose of this site visit will be to answer questions regarding, or requests for clarification of, the Statement of Work and/or Specifications. Although questions during the site visit are permissible, statements or representations made during the site visits are not legally bindings. Changes resulting from the site visits are official only if issued through an Amendment to Request for Quotation (RFQ) solicitation. Contractors are strongly urged to attend site visit/showing.��� BONDING REQUIREMENTS. Alternative Payment Protections. (JUL 2000)� (a) The Contractor shall submit one of the following payment protections: ����������� (i)�������� Irrevocable Letter of Credit (ILC) ����������� (ii)������� Payment Bond� (b) The amount of the payment protection shall be 100 percent of the contract price. (c) The submission of the payment protection is required within 5 days of contract award. (d) The payment protection shall provide protection for the full contract performance period plus a one-year period. The solicitation packet will be available on or about June 2, 2020 on the FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY (FedBizOpps) website at www.beta.SAM.gov.
