- Synopsis � Intent to Sole Source � 1.� Class Code: 1005 � 2.� NAICS Code:� 332994, Small Arms, Ordnance, and Ordnance Accessories Manufacturing, (1,000 employees) � 3.� Subject:� NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE � M32A1 Multi-Shot Grenade Launchers � 4.� Solicitation Number: M67854-20-R-1737 � 5.� Small Business Set-Aside: No � 6.� Response Date: 5 August 2020 � 7.� Description:� The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source (FAR 6302.1 (a)(2)(ii)), based on substantial duplication of costs to the Government that are not expected to be recovered through competition and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency�s requirements. �The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Milkor USA, Inc. (3735 N Romero Rd. Suite 2M Tucson, AZ 85705), for 65 M32A1 Multi-Shot Grenade Launchers, training, tool kits, and spare parts. � This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; no solicitation is forthcoming. The determination not to compete this contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any party interested in submitting questions or concerns regarding this notice or the Government's intent to sole source may contact the Contract Specialist, Kristal Hall, at kristal.hall@usmc.mil by 5 August� 2020, 14:00 P.M.
