- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This synopsis/solicitation 1305M2-20-Q-01443-NCNL constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Southeast Fisheries Science Center (SEFSC), Pascagoula, MS and Miami, FL, has a requirement for Yamaha outboard motors and parts with delivery no later than September 30, 2020. Quote shall include all costs associated with each CLIN unless otherwise indicated on the vendor�s quote. Quote shall be FOB Destination to the addresses in accordance with Commerce Acquisition Regulation (CAR) Clause 1352.246-70, beginning on page nine (9) of this solicitation. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. This RFQ is 100% small business set-aside, associated NAICS code is 441222, Boat Dealers, with a size standard of 500 employees. Additionally, each offeror must provide the following information with the quote: The Request for Quote (RFQ) number; The Name, Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS Number of the Offeror; Include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the RFQ. Quotes that reject the terms and conditions of the RFQ may be excluded from consideration; Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments (SF-30), if any, and; Provide a technical description of the product being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. This may include product literature, or other documents, if necessary. All questions shall be submitted in writing to Natasha.Thieman@noaa.gov by 11:00 A.M. Eastern on July 24, 2020. Telephone inquiries will not be honored. Contractors are encouraged to register with the Contract Opportunities Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes must be submitted via electronic means (e-mail) by 11:00 A.M. Eastern on July 28, 2020. Quotes must be submitted electronically via e-mail to Natasha.Thieman@noaa.gov. The anticipated award date is on or about August 7, 2020. DOC/NOAA Eastern Acquisition Division requires that all contractors doing business with this office be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made to a company not registered in SAM. For additional information and to register in SAM, please access the following web site: www.sam.gov.
