- Data Acquisition Units (DAU)/Accelerometers: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-07, effective 07-02-2020. This acquisition is a full and open competition 5-year IDIQ requirement. The associated NAICS code is 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Devices, with an associated size standard of 500 employees. SPECIFICATION The U.S. Geological Survey, Earthquake Science Center, requires a 5-year IDIQ contract for dataloggers and accelerometers. Please see attached document(s) for a detailed description and solicitation provisions/clauses. Please submit all questions regarding this RFQ to the Contract Specialist, Dana Allan-Loucks at dallan-loucks@usgs.gov, NLT 07/17/2020, 1500 ET. SUBMISSION OF QUOTATIONS/PROPOSALS Quotations/Proposals shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contract Specialist at dallan-loucks@usgs.gov. All proposal documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 07/29/2020 at 1500ET. Proposals submitted by hardcopy or the FedConnect web portal or FedConnect Message Center shall not be accepted or considered. For further information, please contact Dana Allan-Loucks, Contract Specialist, at dallan-loucks@usgs.gov. See attached for further instructions. METHOD OF EVALUATION This solicitation will be conducted under the FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures), and evaluations will be conducted to determine the best value to the government based on comparative evaluations of quotations received, including price and other factors (Ref: FAR 13.106-2). In addition to price, the government will consider degree to which items meet the government requirements specified herein. Relevant past performance information may also be considered.
